The Lupus of Arkansas, Inc. Foundation President,
Mrs. Jamesetta Smith

The Lupus Foundation of Arkansas, Inc., will stop operating temporarily until further notice. It is with regret that we have to take this action but we have to due to the lost of our Founder and President, Jamesetta Smith. She is the heart of the Lupus Foundation of Arkansas, Inc., therefore, all operations of this nonprofit organization will cease temporarily. This includes answering the phone line, fundraising activities, and collecting membership dues. The Board of Directors appreciate all the support given to this organization over the past years and we hope and pray that you will continue to support us in the future. Please be advised that notices will be posted immediately when we resume operations.

Mae Robinson, Board Chair,

We will be posting this announcement on our websites and social media. If you have anyone wanting general lupus information, you can direct them to the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc. We ask that you pray for the family of Jamesetta Smith, and pray for our success as we start to reorganize the Foundation.

Sincerely,

Gale Davis, Co-Chair
